Day 5 - Favourite thing to do...

Well it's simple really, my favourite thing to do is have fun! For me this usually involves being around people I love and having a good time with them. Whether it be a night in or out with my friends or my boyfriend or a nice family gathering. I also love to shop - but I thought it might sound bad if I just put that! As long as i'm happy then it's my favourite thing to do! :D

Day 4 - Favourite foundation...

Foundation is the bain of my life! I have yet to find one I really like, at the moment i'm using L'oreal Paris infallible. I got this last winter and, because I have a massive phobia of looking orange from my foundation, I got it in a colour much too light for my skin. This was fine until summer when I started to get a tan and wearing it made me look like a ghost! I'm using it again now as my summer tan has faded and there's still a lot left because I didn't get to use much last year. Overall, I think it's a nice foundation, it's not too greasy, it doesn't make my skin dry, it goes on easily and you pretty much get what you pay for (£12.29) but it doesn't really last all day, which is quite bad because it says it's supposed to last 16 hours. Another foundation I'm a fan of is Maybelline's Dream Creamy Foundation. A friend of mine really doesn't like this and says it makes her skin greasy but I disagree. It comes with a little applicator pad, not sure what to call it, which makes it really easy to put on, I think that's why I like it so much. I am probably most likely to repurchase this one out of all the foundations i've tried. I've yet to find a foundation I will stick with though, whenever I use one up I buy a different one to replace it. This foundations also really cheap which is always good! :) RRP £8.19

I have however, found a powder foundation I like. I've been using Rimmel London's Stay Matte for as long as I can remember. The main reason I use this is because it's a cheap option and it does the job, I wouldn't say it's a particular good one but it's fine for me :)

Day 3 - Favourite brush...

The best brush I own is by Arbonne, I have a whole set of these and don't use any other ones, this one is by far the best, it's so big and soft :) I use it for my powder foundation and my bronzer...
It's a bit annoying sometimes as it'll leave bristles behind on my face and i'll have to pick them off when i'm done my make up but apart from that it's a nice brush.

Day 2 - Favourite bag that you own...

My favourite bag is definitely my Paul's Boutique Amy bag in blue. I asked for this a few christmases ago and still absolutely love it! It's such a lovely deep blue with a gorgeous leopard print lining which I love because i'm absolutely obsessed with leopard print! :D There's two short straps and a long, removable strap so I can use it for all occasions, which I do!

Day 1 - Favourite eyeliner

I recently changed my favourite eyeliner so I've got a couple to show...

Before, I was using Barry M's liquid eyeliner in black, I found it really easy to apply and it doesn't take very long to dry which saves me making a mess and it's not too expensive, RRP £4.79, they do a range of colours and also a range of metallic colours. I have the blue and the purple which are also good but I hardly ever use them as I prefer black. Plus the bottles a cute shape! Here's a couple of pics:

 

I started using a different eyeliner around christmas time, Barry M sent me a pack of free goodies and in it was the purple version of this, I started using it and liked it so much I decided to go out and buy the black one. It's called Super Soft Eye Crayon, as you can see in the picture, and is No. 1. It's not a liquid eyeliner which means the lines aren't as defined but it looks good as it gives your eyes a smoky effect and makes them really stand out from a distance. The RRP is £3.99, I find Barry M prices really cheap especially for the quality you get. Here's a pic:

I do have products that aren't  Barry M lol, and the liner I use on my waterline is by Bourjois. I absolutely love this! It's sooo black and looks fab. It's called Khol & Contour in Ultra Black and just goes on so easily and the best part of all is that it doesn't wear off! I don't tend to wear eyeliner on my waterline for everyday use so i'm not sure how long exactly it lasts but it can certainly be worn for a night out without any problems. RRP £4.99, another affordable product!
